Fidum STR is the short-term-rental arm of Fidum Company. We manage every property on this site end-to-end — from the bedsheets to the booking confirmation — so when you book here you're dealing directly with the team that owns or operates the home.
We list direct because the alternative is paying 14–18% to OTAs to do the introduction. We'd rather pass that to you as a lower nightly rate, or back into the home as nicer linens and faster Wi-Fi.
Why book direct?
- No service fees stacked on top of the nightly rate.
- Direct line to the host — same number, both before and during your stay.
- Easier to flex on early arrivals, late checkouts, and pet questions.
- Same listings you’d find on Airbnb or Vrbo — sometimes a little less.
How we vet a home
Every property in this collection has been walked, photographed, and stayed in by someone on the Fidum team. We don't take on a listing we wouldn't send our family to — which is also why the catalog stays small on purpose.
